With rest, tranquility, and connection to nature in mind, our houses and suites were created to provide a true experience of disconnection.
For this reason, no unit has a television and Wi-Fi access is only available in the Torre da Coruja Suite, Moinho Suite and Alecrim Suite.
Casa de Artemisa
Casa de Artemisa reflects the strong connection of this house to the natural environment that surrounds it. It is a space full of life, integrated into a landscape where fauna and flora play a central role. Here it is common to see wild animals such as foxes, wild boars and deer, reinforcing the feeling of immersion in nature. The name was chosen as a tribute to the balance between simplicity, wildlife and natural beauty that characterizes Quinta da Foz da Lousa.
Casa da Lua
Casa da Lua holds a very special meaning. It was in 2015, on a full moon night, that the decision arose to reclaim this place, during a moment of serenity, contemplating the landscape and the tranquility of the space. The family dog, named Lua (Moon), was also present during this experience, making the name even more symbolic and personal. This was the house that marked the beginning of the entire project and the transformation of the farm.
Casa das Aromáticas
Casa das Aromáticas has a unique fragrance throughout the space, giving the environment a very distinctive identity. It is a house connected to the senses, where the aroma of plants, the rural surroundings, and the tranquility of the place combine harmoniously. The name reflects the simple, natural, and welcoming character of this accommodation, in perfect harmony with the farm's landscape.
Suite Torre da Coruja
The name of this suite is a play on words and a symbolic connection to the owl, often associated with towers and high places. The name arose naturally as a creative way to highlight this characteristic. The suite precisely conveys this feeling of elevation, shelter, and observation, evoking the unique setting that distinguishes it within the estate.
Suite Moinho
Suite Moinho is inspired by the surrounding landscape and the presence of a watermill visible from the house, an element that reinforces the connection between the farm and the surrounding territory. The name evokes the rural memory of the place, the ancient rhythms of the water, and the tranquility associated with traditional machinery. It is a suite where landscape and history meet discreetly, creating a serene and authentic atmosphere.
Suite da Ribeira
Suite da Ribeira owes its name to its proximity to and views of the river, one of the most striking elements of the estate's landscape. The water, the sound of its flow, and the natural coolness of the surroundings give this space its identity, making it especially connected to nature and relaxation. The name simply and directly reflects this relationship with the place, emphasizing calm, contemplation, and the feeling of being truly integrated into the landscape.
Suite do Alecrim
Suite do Alecrim is inspired by the plant that evokes the aromas, flavors, and traditions of the countryside, and therefore the name of this suite evokes a feeling of familiarity, freshness, and authenticity. It is a space that conveys lightness and naturalness, in harmony with the rural and sensory spirit of the farm.
